Shane Ozment is a vice chairman in Newmark Knight Frank Multifamily’s Denver office where he leads the institutional team alongside partner, Terrance Hunt. A respected commercial real estate expert, Mr. Ozment has advised clients in the disposition of over 300 multifamily assets with a total consideration of over $9.3 billion over the course of his 17-year commercial real estate career. He specializes in the marketing and sale of multifamily properties – ranging from Class A to value-add – in the metro Denver market and is involved in all aspects of the marketing process including asset valuation, client and prospect relations, contract negotiations and closings.

Prior to joining Newmark Knight Frank Multifamily in 2002, Mr. Ozment was employed as a stock broker with Morgan Keegan, Inc. and as a financial advisor with Prudential Securities in Portland, Oregon. Mr. Ozment has over 15 years of experience in securities and investment sales.

    Terrance Huntis a vice chairman in Newmark Knight Frank Multifamily’s Denver office where together with partner Shane Ozment, he leads the institutional team. One of Denver’s consistent top-producing multifamily investment advisors, Mr. Hunt has been involved in the disposition of over 400 multifamily assets with a total consideration of over $13 billion over the course of his 25-year commercial real estate career. He specializes in client advisory, marketing and selling multifamily properties and has handled the largest multifamily property transaction in Colorado history, with the $350 million sale of The Breakers Resort. Mr. Hunt has extensive experience in all types of multifamily and income properties, having worked in the industry most of his life.

    Prior to joining Newmark Knight Frank Multifamily, Mr. Hunt worked for Grubb & Ellis, where he was the top-producing apartment advisor at the company nationwide.

    Executive Managing Director Chris Cowan joined Newmark Knight Frank’s National Land Services Team in 2003, where he focuses on urban infill development and suburban land sales for all multifamily and mixed-use product types. Mr. Cowan has been involved in the sale of land for the development of over 27,000 units with a total consideration in excess of $580 million. He is widely seen as a leader in his market with an unprecedented amount of knowledge relating to land brokerage and multihousing development.

    Mr. Cowan's past and present clients include Alliance Residential, Dinerstein, Continuum Partners and Trammell Crow Residential. In 2015 and 2016, Mr. Cowan was awarded the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties’ Top Land Broker distinction.     Justin Hunt joined Newmark Knight Frank in 2008 bringing with him 14 years of real estate experience.
