Brian Henry represents sellers and buyers in the sale of apartment buildings on the Peninsula, in the South Bay and surrounding Bay Area. Mr. Henry also specializes in the sale of residential development opportunities, triple-net investment properties nationwide, and 1031 tax-deferred exchanges. Over the course of his career, he has sold over 320 buildings totaling more than 3,400 units and $1 billion in sales.

Prior to joining ARA Newmark, Mr. Henry spent eight years at Cushman Wakefield (formerly DTZ/Cassidy Turley), where he served as an executive managing director and consistently ranked among the top 20 agents companywide. He began his real estate career in 2005 with Marcus & Millichap, where he was a senior associate and a director of the National Multihousing Group. Previously, he worked as an outside sales associate at San Francisco-based technology company MongoNet, where he ranked among the company’s top outside sales associates each year he was there.

Justin Bautista is an executive managing director with ARA, A Newmark Company, where he represents sellers and buyers of apartment buildings in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties as well as the surrounding Bay Area. Mr. Bautista also specializes in 1031 tax-deferred exchanges, many of which involve owners selling their apartment buildings and exchanging into triple-net retail investments or larger apartment complexes. He has over 17 years of experience and has completed over 480 closings totaling in excess of $1.75 billion in sales.

Prior to joining ARA Newmark, Justin spent eight years at Cushman & Wakefield (formerly Cassidy Turley/DTZ), where he served as an executive managing director and consistently ranked among the top 20 agents companywide. He also spent eight years at Marcus & Millichap and served as vice president of investments and senior director of that firm’s National Multi-Housing Group.

Prior to joining ARA Newmark, Mr. Zirelli was an associate vice president with Cushman & Wakefield (formerly DTZ). Before that Mr. Zirelli sold specialized servers, storage and networking equipment to medical device and radio surgical companies for 15 years. During his tenure there he was the top-producing sales executive for 13 years and broke every sales record in the company’s 40-year history.

Matthew Thomson is a senior managing director with ARA, A Newmark Company, where he specializes in the sale of multihousing, mixed-use and land development properties in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties. In addition, Mr. Thomson brokers triple-net exchanges both locally and nationwide. Mr. Thomson has been involved in brokering more than 300 sales transactions, mostly acquisitions and dispositions of multihousing investment properties, with a combined value of more than $500 million.

Prior to joining ARA Newmark, Mr. Thomson worked at Cushman & Wakefield, most recently as a vice president with the multihousing group. During his tenure there, he consistently ranked as one of the top-performing apartment brokers. He began at the company as an associate and was promoted through the ranks to vice president. Mr. Thomson launched his real estate career in 2004, as an apartment investment broker at Marcus & Millichap.

Additionally, Mr. Thomson is involved in the ownership and management of apartment buildings in the Bay Area, which enables him to identify daily operations and key investment strategies that allow local apartment investors to thrive. He places paramount importance on long-term client relationships, going above and beyond to ensure his clients receive the best service possible.

In his spare time, Mr. Thomson enjoys outdoor activities and giving back to the community. Along those lines, he has participated in Team in Training, competing in half marathons while raising money to support those battling blood-related cancers. He is also a VIP member of the Household Industry Foundations Emergency Housing Fund, which supports low-income households threatened with homelessness.

Mr. Thomson graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a minor in professional writing.

Prior to joining ARA Newmark, Mr. Danforth was with Cushman & Wakefield (formerly Cassidy Turley/DTZ) as part of a team of 13 brokers who, in their first full year with the company, represented over 50% of the brokerage business for apartments ranging from five to 100 units in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties. In his final year with the company, he was on track to win his office's Rookie of the Year award. Previously, Mr. Danforth was with Marcus & Millichap, where he began his real estate career. He closed his first three transactions while still in training, and after less than one year was promoted to associate with the company’s National Multi-Housing Group.

Mr. Danforth graduated from the University of Southern California with bachelor's degrees in economics and philosophy.

Scott A. During his tenure there, he ranked among the highest producers nationwide on a number of occasions and was honored with various national sales achievement awards. Mr. Kilpatrick’s extensive knowledge of the marketplace, his attention to detail and his negotiation skills provide great benefits to his clients resulting in mutually beneficial long-term relationships. These outstanding characteristics make Mr. Kilpatrick a market leader in the commercial real estate industry. Mr. Kilpatrick also worked with Marcus & Millichap in its multihousing group and before that worked in property management with The Grupe Company where his group managed over 3,000 apartment units in the San Joaquin Valley. He also has experience in entitlement and the development of real estate throughout the state of Oregon.

Mr. Kilpatrick graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with an emphasis in real estate finance and a minor in economics from the University of the Pacific. He personally owns and manages several mobile home parks in Oregon as well as apartments in Santa Clara. Mr. Kilpatrick is a San Carlos resident and is married with three children. His hobbies include golf, traveling and scuba diving.
